The M.I.V. Agenda
Anthony (Tony) Bollano
Ex Cosa Nostra
Tony Bollano is a marked man. The Sicilian Mafia wants him very dead, but first they would like to have a long painful conversation with him. What’s he got left? He can barely contact his relatives. His “family” believes he violated omerta. He hardly believes in the Catholic Church anymore. He is aging, and every day brings a new nagging pain that wasn’t there before. He hasn’t got much time left.
Things haven’t always been this bad. Once, Tony had everything a man might want: power, respect, money, women. Things were good. It all went south. A priest was killed by mistake and someone talked to the police; both crimes marked for death by the mafia. What followed was an endless succession of East European ratholes, meaningless jobs, cigarettes and empty wine bottles. Things got worse at Bagram in Afghanistan. Tony has been running from what he saw there ever since.
